Have you heard of Sleepy Poet’s legendary locations for the best in browsing and buying antiques and other hidden treasures?! I admit that I feel serious “retail therapy” hit my heart whenever I wander the aisles. I love it because they offer TWO locations with diverse booths –one in Charlotte and one in Gastonia–so there’s something for everyone.
If you visit the Gastonia location, be sure to plan for stairs (or use the service elevator) because there are THREE levels of treasures, with most of the furniture on the upper and lower floors. I found an amazing bedroom suite for a guest room for such a reasonable price, that we went back and scooped up a Union Jack style painted dresser to go with it!
