Raise your hand if you’ve never been to Me Vietnamese Kitchen in Gastonia, because you have been missing out! This place is so special because not only do they have delicious spring rolls, crispy rolls, and pho, but they have true authentic boba in a variety of flavors–including some I haven’t dared to try like Durian. Thankfully, she was sweet enough to gently discourage me from trying something that reportedly tastes like powdered sugar and chives, but I did suck down the delicious coconut boba–my favorite and doesn’t taste artificial. Just creamy coconutty goodness!
I especially enjoy the chicken bun, which I can spice up with fresh mint, chilis, and duck sauce, if I like. And I do….I do! Now open on Mondays, as they have decided to take a day for family on Sunday. Give Me Vietnamese Kitchen a try–it’s a great cultural food option in Gaston county!
